Problem Statement
How can we create a system that allows for greater productive engagement between stores and college students?
Understanding the User

Conducting Interviews
Another way we understood the problem space was by conducting research. This indicated that college students mostly bought snacks and prefers to know where everything in a shop is

Observation
Observing users in the store allowed us to visualize first hand what their experience was. This was a great way to get an unbiased view if how college students truly shop. We chose a target by campus, to maximize the chance of seeing our user group.

Secondary Research
For our research we focused on many different aspects of shopping to get a full picture on the average shopping experience and incentives to keep people shopping in person. It also showed the value for shopping in person as a young adult because it grows responsibility

User Journey Mapping
In order to create a product we had to map out the typical experience of a college grocery student. We gathered this information by research, interviews and observation
Sketching and Ideation
For our ideation we decided to sketch out a bunch of ideas and features for our app, to narrow down what we wanted to focus on. Having multiple people sketch out similar products allowed us to see what we might not of taken in to consideration before.

Story Board
Our story board allowed us to show how our product would be used in a real scenario. We pictured a college student arriving to store and pulling up the app, putting their grocery list and then shopping till checkout.
Final Deliverables

For our final product, we created a video with some low-fidelity screens to help our product come to life. We decided to create an app that would map out the grocery store for you from a list you uploaded to your mobile device
