Giving Children a Voice

Problem Space
CASA volunteers are extremely important for both each child and the situation they are a part of, however it is also important to be aware that out of 390,000 children in the foster care system, only around 242,000 children are actually being represented.

Goals
Create a product that worked with current softwares such as Optima, to optimize the amount of time spent on each case
Provide a visual representation that expanded upon the ideas of the sketching phase.
Create a more concrete example that would get us closer to what the final product would look like
Sketching
-We started with basic sketching INDIVIDUALLY to create A MULTITUDE OF IDEAS
-AFTER SKETCHING THE WHOLE TEAM GOT TOGETHER ON THE WHITEBOARD TO MERGE OUR PERSPECTIVES AND MAKE THE MOST WELL-ROUNDED VERSION POSSIBLE TO GO INTO THE WIREFRAMING PROCESS
Wireframes
We created wireframes to try and bring our vision to life. It is how we decided how all of our different ideas would flow together in harmony. We used out wireframes to user test before moving on to High FIDELITY models.

User Testing

We used our user testing to simply some areas, like removing excessive create buttons, and simplifying the CALENDAR. We tested on college students for the overall flow of the website. In ADDITION to the students we user tested on casa volunteers to get feedback on its functionality in the casa workflow.
